EMU Industry now moving ahead of Breeding to Oil & Meat as Focus Product
EMU rearing has caught up well with the farmers in India but we as business owners need to take lead to complete the product cycle, ending finally at EMU Oil.
We at TallBird EMU are in process of supporting EMU Oil producers to export the same to global market. EMU industry worldwide is of $ US 4.1 MN (approx.) and Indian contribution is less than 2% to it. Our industry is new, people are learning and moving ahead with rearing but still the numbers of EMU Birds in India are very less to support global demand.
In view of the same, we at TallBird EMU Farm are working in both the directions; one is taking up the leadership role to complete the cycle of rearing to EMU Oil & Skin, and the other one is to encourage farmers to establish EMU farms all India.
I will appreciate if anyone who has any knowledge, information and or contacts of EMU Oil buyers. We need it; we need it for sake of making it a bigger industry and ensuring Indian foot print across the global EMU products market.
